Holy Night – Christmas at the Orphanage

For to us, a Child is born, to us, a Son is given;
Is. 9:6

The Channel sets out to create memorable experiences for orphans and vulnerable children with every activity we do…and Christmas gives us an opportunity to create such moments.

So on Tuesday, we had our Holy Night activity – where we visited the Kefiano Foundation Home (an orphanage home in Jos, Nigeria). There we had Christmas Lunch with the children, gave each one of them Christmas Gifts, sang Christmas Carols with them, and the children shared their favourite Christmas memories with us.

While sharing her Christmas experience, Ngozi Edmond, President of the Channel, conveyed to the children her thoughts on Christmas.
‘Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year for me and this year The Channel makes it even more memorable. We celebrate Jesus’ coming into the world and we are the reason he came. So, in essence, when we celebrate the coming of Jesus we actually celebrate each other and ourselves; for whom He came.’

We thank all members, friends, and partners of the Channel for their contributions and donations. God made this possible through you.
