The Channel is pleased to announce the appointment of one of its members, James Akinyele, as the District Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Jos.
The installation ceremony took place on Sunday, the 29th of January at the Foursquare District Headquarters Church in Jos.
The Channel congratulates its very own Pastor James as he is elevated to yet another exalted position with greater responsibility.
In a congratulatory message to Pastor James and the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, Ms Ngozi Edmond, the President of The Channel stated, ‘We see Pastor Akinyele’s new appointment as a great opportunity for the Eclessia in Jos to benefit from the wisdom and grace that our Almighty God has lavishly blessed him with. We are pleased not only because Pastor Akinyele is one of us but because we know he is blessed with the grace, experience, and expertise to lift the Foursquare Community in Nigeria to greater heights.’
Pastor James Akinyele is the current Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Evangelical Fellowship (NEF) – the coordinating body for Evangelical churches in Nigeria with many evangelical churches and missions agencies as members in Nigeria.
Pastor Akinyele also serves as a visiting lecturer with several missions, leadership, and theological institutions across the country.
